WHAT A WEEK for Blockchain/DLT…Since my update last week, the landscape has shown no signs of slowing. We’ve seen more the conversations sprouting up around decentralized applications (DApps), improvements around infrastructure, and Libra continuing to make highlights and governments nervous. 📖 Blockchain-Based Game Becomes First DApp to Launch on Crypto Platform

ILCoin, a crypto platform is announcing the launch of its first decentralized application (DApp) named AGE of ILC on its SHA-256 blockchain. The application is a tower defense game in which players have to obstruct strangers and stop them from stealing their treasure. 📖 Kakao Claims Its New Blockchain Is 15x Faster Than Ethereum

South Korean messaging app provider Kakao has claimed that its recently launched Klaytn blockchain network is up to 15 times faster than ethereum. 📚What I’m Reading Now

This week I began reading the latest edition (June 2019) of Andrew Roman’s Masters of Blockchain: The rise of blockchain and crypto, the tokenization of the world’s assets and what that means for startups, corporations and investors. The first edition of the book laid a solid foundation of the then industry with raw insights from many experts and enterprises. Looking forward to this updated version and will report back.
